eVisit's October 16, 2024 release brings exciting enhancements aimed at elevating the user experience and continued focus on specific customer requests. Learn about these updates below and reach out to your Customer Success Manager for more information:

  • User Groups (Provider Groups)
    • Visits can now be assigned or reassigned to groups, instead of individual providers.
  • Plan per Payor (Set up via eVisit Admin)
    • User experience enhancements to the insurance flow to help reduce patient drop-off during intake.
  • Third-party interpreters (Audio integration and selected video vendor integration)
    • This feature allows a clinician to invite and add a third-party human interpreter via video to an already active patient video visit.
  • WCAG Accessibility Phase 2: Core Patient Experience
    • Remediating a subset of the accessibility issues with the eVisit patient experience. eVisit WCAG work in Oct. focused on ensuring accessibility of our Avatar and modal components, as well as updating our color framework to meet contrast standards. While important efforts, none of the work in the October release will have a perceptible change.
  • Chat Notification Differentiation for Clinician and Patient/attendee
    • A new setting that only displays a chat visual notification if the last message was sent by a patient or attendee.

Bluestream Specific Updates (Release on Oct. 30):

  • End Call For Interpreters & Third Parties in Bluestream Video
    • When a third participant is present in a video session, this function will allow the clinical user to either leave the video session or end the call for everyone
  • Display Join Visit Request in Bluestream Queue
    • When a user adds a provider to a live visit by selecting a call-center expert account, the named user will have that join request displayed in their queue.
  • Automatic Reconnect When Connection Compromised
    • A message that will appear in-visit informing a user when a network issue is detected and that the Bluestream platform is automatically attempting to reconnect to the visit.
  • Care Navigator to VTC eVisit Video
    • This feature allows customers to initiate requests or telehealth visits on the Bluestream Care Navigator platform and seamlessly interact with the providers who are utilizing eVisit’s virtual triage center (VTC) interface and eVisit core video platform.
  • Enhance Queue Layout Management
    • Enhancement to the Bluestream queue that allows for: Configurable sort order of the Bluestream queues display and additional visual awareness of calls in queue section
