eVisit's October Release has over 15 product updates, all focused on improving efficiency, accessibility, and user experience. Learn about them below and reach out to your Customer Success Manager if you have any questions:
- Enable or Disable Patient Ability to Upload Attachments
- This feature allows care teams to implement a setting to remove the patient’s ability to add attachments anywhere in the application (desktop, mobile, patient in-take, sidebar).
- Allowing Providers to Cancel an Active Visit While In-Visit
- Reduces the number of steps required to cancel a visit while in-visit.
- Care Team Can Sign Notes in Scheduling and Waiting Room Pages
- This feature allows clinical users to sign notes form the scheduling and waiting room pages. This will be optional per practice.
- “Complete Visit” Button Added to Scheduling and Waiting Room Pages
- Now, with this setting turned on, users can complete the visit instead of a) canceling it to remove it from the scheduling page or b) unnecessarily having to join video from the Queue, making it even easier to complete visits.
- Improving Clinician Experience by Differentiating Guardians For The Same Dependent
- This update differentiates these guardians when searching for a dependent across various clinical touchpoints.
- Increased Patient Access to Visit Notes
- Patients can now see notes sent by clinical users in the application without having to download the summary.
- Redesigned Table on Scheduling Page to Improve Consistency and Efficiency
- The list of scheduled visits on the Scheduling page
is being redesigned to use a new table layout for managing appointments.
- Remove Patient Access to “My Account” in Dropdown
- This feature will remove the patient’s ability to go to the My Account section to prevent them from making updates to their profile directly in eVisit, if preferred by the administrative team.
- Single Sign On (SSO) Auto-Provisioning & Deprovisioning for Clinical Users
- eVisit is now integrated with Azure and other SCIM supported identity management services that allows clinical users to be automatically provisioned (given access), updated, and de-provisioned (access removed) in eVisit.
- Update to Post-Visit Patient Survey
- We have updated the design and flow to improve the user’s experience with post-visit surveys.
- Updated Patient Intake Experience
- Some improvements have been made to optimize these pages including updated design components and a few new behaviors.
- Updated Timezone Functionality
- The Timezone pop-up displays to users when a different timezone has been detected than the one they set on their account upon registration.
- Updates to Navigating Upcoming Visits
- This page is used to display patients’ scheduled visits, whether self-scheduled or scheduled by clinical users on behalf of the patient.
- Uploading, Viewing, and Deleting Attachments on Mobile During Virtual Visits
- Allows all participants to upload, view and delete attachments in-visit while on a mobile device.
- “Waiting Room” Renamed to “Queue” for Clarity
- What used to be called the “Waiting Room” will now be referred to as the “Queue”. The functionality in the Queue is essentially a Virtual Triage Center rather than simply a waiting room. The term “Queue” better reflects the robust functionality and purpose of this portion of the application.
- Addition of Provider Filter
- The Provider Filter is a new option that allows clinical users to filter providers by state or availability.
