eVisit2021.R4 Platform Release

eVisit is devoted to our customers’ success and we are continually expanding the virtual care platform with our customers’ input to accomplish our vision for healthcare

We’re excited about the following features and how they enable eVisit to support our customers’ critical workflows, create value and improve the patient experience.

On Oct. 7, we will support the following additional features as part of our eVisit2021.R4 platform release:

eAnalyze Dashboard We’re working to empower our customers to track their success with eVisit. Therefore, the eAnalyze Dashboard will be made available to all customers. This dashboard provides valuable data insights into areas such as usage, wait times, and other adoption metrics.

Visit Confirmation Page The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) recommends several success criteria that ensure users can utilize and navigate digital products. By improving content and use of color in a more predictable and perceivable way, we can positively impact patients’ experience as they navigate through eVisit and advance to their visit.

Active Participant Videos With active participant video functionality, all participants will be informed when another participant has left the visit and is no longer present. This will clear  up confusion and improve reliability.

ePrescribe Pediatric Height and Weight Many medications indicated for pediatric use are dosed by weight, therefore it is important to accurately record a pediatric patient's weight. We are adding and requiring height and weight fields for patients 18 and under to ensure additional safety and validation so pharmacists can do checks when a prescription is sent.

Charting Electronic Signature To help clarify when a clinical user has completed charting, eVisit will now automatically display the name, credentials, NPI number, date and timestamp of the person who adds any addendum, or selects “Sign Notes”.

Charting Required Fields eVisit has long supported improving documentation of provider-patient interactions by making a charting field required inside a chart section. Those fields were only required if the provider accessed a chart section with required fields. Now, fields can be set as required whether or not the provider accesses that chart section.

Switch Practice from Header Patients and providers associated with multiple practices can directly switch between practices from a drop-down menu on their home screen, creating a more seamless user experience.

Additional Improvements

Customizable Content Translation We continue to expand support for Spanish in eVisit. With this release, we now support even more areas of customizable content displaying English or Spanish translations of text.

Pipe Delimited Reports eVisit now supports the ability to deliver key reports in a pipe delimited format as well as a comma separated format.

Disable Scheduling Workflows Organizations that don’t use eVisit’s scheduling functionality now have the option to disable eVisit scheduling functionality to improve the user experience and reduce confusion or error.
