New Telemedicine App Lets Patients Connect with Their Doctor Via Secure Video Chat

eVisit, a telehealth company building physician-first solutions, announced today the launch of their mobile app, available for iOS and Android. In addition to the eVisit web app, eVisit’s new mobile app will now let physicians provide remote video visits to their patients via mobile device. Participating physicians and their patients can download the app to their Apple and Android mobile devices to connect in real-time for diagnosis and treatment of a variety of medical issues.

An easy-to-use, telemedicine app designed by physicians, for physicians, the eVisit solution helps healthcare providers raise patient satisfaction and boost practice revenue.   • Stay-in-touch — providers and patients get updates on the status of remote visit requests via text, call or email.
  • Collect Co-pay and Bill — providers can charge patients for the visit within the app.
  • Patient Records — a complete, exportable record of the visit that can be submitted for reimbursement, and easily added to a practice’s EMR.

In order to use the eVisit mobile app, physicians need to first sign up with eVisit. Only the patients of participating physicians can use the app.
