In this release we have several exciting new features that provide you with all new clinical workflows so you can help even more patients get the care they need. Also massive improvements to the patient’s experience, particularly for scheduled visits.
See these and other new features made to assist you in simplifying healthcare delivery to everyone everywhere!
We will release the following features on January 27th, 2022:
Call Tree The ability to escalate a patient who has been waiting through configured groups of providers so that patient wait time is managed and providers are used utilized more efficiently.
Co-Signatures Allows advanced practice providers (APPs) to conduct clinical visits and their supervising physician to electronically sign chart notes for a visit conducted by APPs.
Availability Filtering in Reassign Enables a user to quickly identify the best person to reassign a patient to, based on availability, waiting room capacity, and state medical licensure.
Hide On-Demand Availability from Patients Enable our customers to utilize workflows where a provider needs to be toggled “On-Call,” but also prevent a patient from initiating a See Now visit.
Upcoming Visits A redesigned experience for patients joining or preparing for their scheduled visit that decreases patient confusion and improves usability.
Waiting Room Management BETA A redesign of the eVisit waiting room built to focus clinical users on the most relevant patients and designed to facilitate a more efficient clinical workflow from scheduled to being seen.
Override Patient’s State Geolocation Provides the ability for a clinical user to override the state geolocation of a patient for a visit when their physical location differs from the location their device is reporting. Specifically for cases where a user’s device may have location-altering services, such as a VPN.
In-Visit Scheduling Brings eVisit’s scheduling tools and capabilities directly into a live visit between clinical users and their patients.
Provider Availability Discrepancy Warning Warns the provider when their availability change will conflict with their scheduled availability.
The below changes are exciting improvements that require no configuration or enablement but that we want to make sure you’re aware of:
Audio & Video Access Flows Provides a variety of improvements to how eVisit requests access/permission to the user's audio & video, which improves overall user experiences and success with visits.
Scale Video to Screen Adjusts the scale of the video window so that patients and providers can better see each other on their screens.
Patients Page Default Filter Removes the default filter of “registered” on the patients, which was unintentionally hiding un-registered patients (such as with integrations or with quick entry visits). Will be previewable on/after Jan 20th.
Accessible Colors for Branded Customers Updates colors used in buttons, links, and other components across eVisit to an accessible blue color and removes gradients that hinder accessibility. Will be previewable on/after Jan 20th.
